I start of this week with waking up 3 hours late for class Which I need to work on, my time management is lacking.

I decided to be productive and experiment with a microphone I constructed from the mouth piece and microphone from an old megaphone. Testing the microphone out It had quite a tin can/telephone tone to it. a very mid range sound. I then ran this through a sp404 mk2 using the scatter effect and cloud delay as I recorded a jank blues guitar riff on a cheap old nylon string. All of tis was recorded onto a 4 track cassette recorder and once recorded I would use the pitch dial and slow down by 30bpm then send back into sonar (daw) to re record. I love the tape saturation and compression when it’s clipping it feels real.
