I’ve always been trying to find different way to visualise sound. There’s already methods of achieving this using oscilloscopes but I feel as if they don’t visualise sound in a way that captures the feeling what the audio creates. In this video I experimented with using CR TV to visualise the audio from my live jam. I achieved this using phono cable from the output into the video in on the monitor. Depending on the Frequencies of the audio the higher frequencies would create thinner and sharper lines where as the lows would create thicker and denser lines. The higher the amplitude the stronger the tv with glitch out, this was seen when the kick drum could be heard as its the loudest element in the mix, and also lowest frequency creating the dense lines moving across the screen.
