Panning

In this audio I recorded electronic percussion from samples and experimented with stereo imaging plugins, each percussive instrument or tone represents its own space on the stereo field. the plugins used were: channel tools, Sonitus surround and Ozone stereo imager. Sonitus surround is one of my favourites for adding depth to a mix as you can pan audio from back to front to give the illusion of distance. Another great tool you can use within the plugin is the path option, where you can draw a set path across the stereo field that the audio will automatically move across. Ozone is great for processing audio to sound huge as you have full control over each frequency and where it stands on the stereo field.
